Welcome! My name is Alexandra Swift and I’m a Psychotherapist based in Dublin.

Wherever you may find yourself today, you are welcome here. Beginning therapy is often the start of making space for yourself, and can bring up a lot of different feelings. My goal is to create an environment where you can feel safe enough to slow down, reflect, and explore what might be going on for you at your own pace. It can be a space for pain, uncertainty and the heavier parts of life, but there is also room for joy, creativity, gratitude and connection. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start, and this work doesn’t require perfection or certainty. It is an evolving process that we can navigate together, one step at a time.

As an integrative Psychotherapist, I believe therapy should feel as individual as the person coming to it. Your experiences, coping styles, relationships, and preferences are unique to you, and our work together should honour that. My approach is collaborative and flexible, which means that we can shape therapy in a way that feels meaningful to you and aligned with your needs.

In the menu at the top right of this page, you’ll find more information about my therapeutic approach, booking a session, and how to get in touch.

Experiences I Work With

I work with clients experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout, disordered eating, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, identity exploration, and life transitions.

I also have a particular interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and neurodivergent individuals, offering a therapeutic relationship that is affirming and grounded in understanding each person’s unique experiences.

A note on allyship

Being an LGBTQIA+ ally is really important to me, both personally and professionally. I am committed to creating a therapeutic space where difference is respected, identity is affirmed, and people feel able to show up as themselves.
