Accessibility
I am committed to making therapy as accessible as possible. If you have any accessibility needs or require adjustments to attend sessions comfortably, please let me know.
How often should I come to therapy?
This depends on your needs, preferences and goals.
Weekly sessions are often helpful when beginning therapy or when working through something more intense, as they provide continuity and momentum.
Biweekly sessions can be a good option if you're looking for a slower pace, ongoing support, or maintenance after an initial period of more frequent work.
We can also decide together what feels more supportive for you and adjust over time if needed.
How long will I need therapy for?
This varies from person to person. Some people come for a shorter period of more focused work, while others prefer longer-term support. We can review this together as we go.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes - everything you share is confidential, with some legal and ethical exceptions (e.g. risk of harm). These will be explained clearly in our first session together and also outlined in our Client Agreement.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Cancellations made after this time will be charged in full. Where possible, we can look at rescheduling within the same week at a mutually convenient time.
If for any reason I need to cancel a session, I will also aim to provide at least 48 hours’ notice, and you will not be charged.
In instances where you need to contact me to notify me that you are cancelling a session, please text or email me as soon as you can.
